Jekyll Island, one of Georgia’s Golden Isles, is a barrier island with a story that stretches from ancient Indigenous cultures to Gilded Age millionaires. Today, it’s a state park carefully preserved for public enjoyment, offering a quiet blend of coastal landscapes, historic landmarks, and outdoor activities. With only a limited number of commercial developments allowed, the island maintains a peaceful, uncrowded atmosphere that’s hard to find on most Southeastern beaches.
Rockport is a coastal town on the tip of Cape Ann in northeastern Massachusetts, surrounded by rocky shoreline, small coves, and the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. The town developed from fishing, quarrying, and maritime trade, and its harbor remains central to its identity. Bearskin Neck, a narrow waterfront peninsula, contains galleries, shops, restaurants, and working boats. Rockport’s landscape is marked by granite ledges and exposed coastal rock, while wooded inland areas provide a contrast
Everglades National Park protects a vast subtropical wetland at the southern tip of Florida, where freshwater moves slowly through sawgrass marshes, mangrove forests, hardwood hammocks, and coastal lagoons toward Florida Bay. Covering more than 1.5 million acres, it is the largest subtropical wilderness in the United States. The park is part of a much larger ecosystem whose waters originate in central and southern Florida and eventually reach the Gulf of Mexico and Florida Bay

Santa Fe Island, formerly known as Barrington Island, is one of the smaller of the Galapagos islands. Although relatively small and unpopulated, the island is a great day-trip option for visitors to the area.
As on many of the Galapagos islands, the principal activities on Santa Fe Island are walking, snorkeling and diving. Highlights center around endemic vegetation and wildlife, including the large Optunia Echios (an endemic subspecies of prickly pear cactus), the Barrington land iguana, Santa Fe rice rat, Barrington leaf-toed gecko, and Santa Fe marina iguana. You'll also find large colonies of sea lions, both on the beaches and in the surrounding water, and a wide variety of birds all along the cliffs.
