In northern Mexico, it is the capital of Chihuahua State and known most for the hairless dogs that bear the same name. Pancho Villa operated out of the surrounding mountains. It is a major mining and cattle raising center. The smelting plant employs many of the citizens.

Argentina shares half of this island territory in the South Atlantic Ocean with Chile. It's a place of oil derricks, sheep, glaciers, wind and waterways. Lifou is the largest of the Loyalty Islands of New Caledonia and is known for its raised coral landscape, clear lagoons, and forested interior. Unlike Grande Terre, Lifou has no high mountain range, but its limestone plateau reaches enough elevation to create cliffs, caves, and elevated coastal viewpoints.

Jbel Toubkal is the highest mountain in Morocco and the highest peak in North Africa, rising to 4,167 meters in the High Atlas Mountains. It stands within Toubkal National Park, south of Marrakech, above valleys and Amazigh villages including Imlil. The mountain is surrounded by steep ridges, rocky slopes, high-altitude valleys, and seasonal snow.

Giant’s Causeway is a remarkable coastal formation on the north coast of County Antrim, Northern Ireland, where roughly 40,000 interlocking basalt columns extend from the foot of the cliffs into the sea. Most columns have a distinctive polygonal shape, created as layers of molten basalt cooled and contracted. The site forms part of the Giant’s Causeway and Causeway Coast UNESCO World Heritage Site and is protected as an important geological landscape.
