Bryce Canyon, tucked into the high plateaus of southern Utah, offers one of the most unusual landscapes in the American Southwest. It’s not actually a canyon but a series of natural amphitheaters carved into the edge of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. What makes Bryce unique is its dense collection of hoodoos which are tall, thin spires of rock formed over millions of years by frost-wedging and erosion.

Ashland is a small city in southern Oregon, set in the foothills of the Siskiyou Mountains near the California border. The community is known for its tree-lined streets, historic downtown, Lithia Park, and access to surrounding mountain landscapes. Ashland’s compact center contains independent shops, restaurants, galleries, and historic buildings, while Ashland Creek runs through the city and into the park.

Thanks to the high hills which surrounds the town, (The cliffs of Gardiole) Cassis is well protected from the cold winds, which makes for mild winters. Strolling along the port or walking in the Calanques on a sunny Christmas day is an experience that you will never forget.

La Palma (also San Miguel de La Palma) is the fifth of Spain's Canary Islands. This mountainous volcanic island is a natural wonder of tropical vegetation. Its coast is lined by jagged cliffs and plunging ravines, and its beaches are covered with black sand. Thanks to dry climate and the height of its mountains creating excellent observation conditions, La Palma has become the home of some of the world's largest telescopes, seated on the rocky ridge called El Roque de los Muchachos.

Beaverton is a city in northwestern Oregon, located just west of Portland in the Tualatin Valley. The community combines a developed urban center with wetlands, creeks, parks, and areas of remaining farmland. Its position between the Coast Range and the Portland metropolitan area has made Beaverton both a residential community and an important employment center.

Carroll is a small town in northern New Hampshire within the White Mountains region, known for its forested slopes, mountain views, and proximity to several major outdoor attractions. The town includes the village of Twin Mountain, which sits near the junction of several roads crossing the northern White Mountains. Its landscape is shaped by the Ammonoosuc River and surrounding peaks, including Mount Washington farther east.
